We decided to drive up to the West Coast to hike up to Ka'aena Point where the beach is just FILLED with corals, not sand. And hopefully to spot some seals too!
Crusin in a convertible! And a Mustang, no less! :)
Noe and Tatjanaaaa
Oh, the cloudsss
Bye bye, Honolulu!
It was kind shaped like a heart at first, but the clouds shifted so fast. Kinda looks like crown though, no?
The West Coast is mostly dominated by small communities of the Polynesian culture, more of the low income families. A lot of them literally live on the beach, we saw TONS of tents on beaches, which are their homes.
After an hour or so, we finally reached Ka'aena Beach Park, which is basically at the end of the road.
Hello heloooo! Love it!

She found a heart shaped rock! :)

Salt!

And so, the 3 mile hike began.. for Noe and Sylvia.
Well, my one of sandal straps broke after 5 minutes. So, Tatjana and I went back to the car to get my sneakers but Noe and Sylvia took my camera and went on ahead without us -___- So you'll be seeing just pictures of just the both of them for abit haha.
No idea what this says
Lava rocks!
They told us that one point of the trail was washed away so you have to climb across with that piece of wood and rope haha
??
Ka'aena Point!
Unfortunately, they didnt see any seals.
TOO BAD!
Coral, coral everywhere!!
So fun!
Gorgeous. I can just imagine big fat seals lying around haha
Hula hula!
Okay, so here's the thing. By the time Tatjana and I got back on the trail, Noe and Sylvia were pretty far ahead. They had the water and my camera -___- So we just kinda took our time walking and it seemed like it was never ending and we were just so HOT! So we climbed down the lava rocks, and got totally splashed by crazy waves, which helped cool us down. Then, we just decided to walk back haha.
But, we met Lulu and Paul! They were incredibly friendly and so nice! At first we thought they were selling super overpriced drinks to tourists and we were SO ready to pay extra just for some water haha. But instead, he was offering drinks for free. All in name of the Aloha spirit! We had such a fun time chatting with them while watching the sun set.
Rufus! :D
Since Noe and Sylvia had my camera, I used my phone to take pictures. Not bad eyh? :)
I cant get over how many beautiful sunsets I've seen since I've been here <3
Tatjana and Paul :)
Three of us!
The moooon!!
The eerie looking Makua Cave! Most popular myth about this cave is that it was once occupied by a man-shark named Kamahoalili. He would disguise himself as a man to bait humans into the cave and then..*NGAM!*, dinner time! :/
Going innnnn
We came back out like, 10 seconds later haha. It looked so eerie and we didn't have a flash light. Honestly, even if we did, I don't look I would dare to use it haha.
When we got back to Honolulu, we wanted to check out the whole view of it from some park
It was awesoome, we laid on the blanket, chilled, watched the stars and the moon, with the most perfect view :)
See what I mean? How can you NOT love it :)
o
Check out how we cruiseee haha :)
Halloween pictures up next!! :D
